Fabric & Care
Our chambray work shirt is made from a 4.5oz, 100% cotton, chambray fabric that has been woven by the brilliant Albini mill in Italy. This is a lightweight and breathable shirting fabric thatâs very durable and will keep developing its patina as itâs worn and washed over time. Following the making of your shirt, it has been given a light wash so it will arrive soft and feeling like an old friend. Wash at 30âC. Do not tumble dry. Iron inside out.

BE A WEAR TESTER
We are looking for a small group of wear testers. As this is our first shirt, we'd like your help. For this small run, we'd like you to wear them in and give us lots of feedback. We know it's a great shirt (we've been wearing ours for a couple of years now). But with your help, we want to know how to make it even better. We donât want you to just wear our shirt, we want you to put it to work. So, as a small thank you for participating and helping us out, this first run of shirts will be available for an introductory price of £85. This is a small experiment we're running, so we don't know if we'll be doing it again. This might be our first shirt of many. Or it maybe it will be the last. It's all down to you.

OUR FIRST SHIRT
Making shirts wasnât part of our plan. But then we found this beautiful chambray fabric from Albini, an Italian fabric mill who have been making the finest shirting fabrics for over 140 years. Originally we made a shirt each, just for ourselves. We wore and wore them and they got better with time. They made it into our photoshoots, layered under jackets and it didnât go unnoticed. You kept asking for them, and so did our family. We managed to get the last few rolls of fabric the mill had in stock and our factory agreed to make a small run for us before they closed for the summer holidays. Weâre excited to see what you think of them.
A WARDROBE WORKHORSE
Chambray is an iconic fabric that dates back centuries and has stood the test of time as a versatile and practical cloth. And because of how itâs woven, itâs both breathable and durable.

AS TIMELESS AS THEY GET
Weâve always thought of the chambray work shirt as a true classic of modern menswear, itâs dependable, adaptable and makes for classic pairing with pretty much anything in your wardrobe.

THE CALIFORNIA OF EUROPE
Our shirts are hand made in a factory nestled away on a mountain side in GuimarĂŁes, Portugal. Itâs a maker town. The factory is a small family run business that has been going for the last 30 years, specialising in shirts. They have a track record for supporting the underdogs. Weâre proud to have our shirts made by them.
