Batch No.11
Our Italian corduroy chore jacket that previously sold out in 2 minutes is finally back for Batch No.11. But this time in our classic three-pocket chore silhouette. It’s made from a buttery soft, but hard-hitting, Italian corduroy fabric and finished with minimal steel buttons.
Each one is handmade in Portugal by a small (14 person) family run factory and hand-numbered in the order they’re sold. As always, you’ll get weekly updates with behind the scenes footage so you can see your jacket being made for you.
Batch No.11 will be available on the 12th of March at 9AM (GMT). Only 750 jackets will be available. Limited to one per person. Each one made to order. Shipping in late April.

Details
A classic three pocket chore jacket. Made from a medium weight 10-wale Italian corduroy. Finished with minimal brushed steel buttons. Limited edition label inside designed by Studio Lenca. Hangloop on collar. Subtle under collar stitching. Tapered sleeves. Buttoned cuffs. Interior phone and card pocket. Garment dyed for a worn-in look and feel. Each one hand numbered. Made with love in Portugal.
- Fit
The number one reason any piece of clothing becomes a favourite is because it fits like a glove. That’s why we spend so long working on it.
Batch No.11 fits true to size and is just the right level of boxy. It’s a little roomier in the chest and shoulders than our slimmer unisex chore jackets so you can layer more underneath. Available in sizes XS to XXL.
Our model (and good friend) Kingsley is 5ft 11 / 180cm and wears a size Large. He also wears a size Large in all our other jackets.
To find your best fit, compare our jacket measurements to a similar jacket you already own. Lay your jacket flat, buttoned up and take all measurements from the outside of the garment and compare with our size chart.
- Fabric & Care
Batch No.11 has been constructed from a beautiful 10-Wale Corduroy, woven by Duca Visconti in Italy, who are true corduroy experts. After all, they have been weaving it since 1838. It’s just the right weight to be able to wear all year round and tough enough to stay looking good years to come. Each jacket is garment dyed to give it a worn-in look and feel.
Machine washable at 30 degrees, then hang to dry. If needed, iron inside out or steam to take out creases.
- Shipping & Returns
Each jacket is made to order and will be shipped in late April.
Depending on where you live, your jacket will arrive within 1 - 5 days via DHL. Once your jacket is dispatched, you'll receive an email confirming the due date, and tracking details for your jacket.
If you’re based in the EU, we will be sending your jacket directly from Portugal so that you won’t incur additional fees. All other jackets will be sent from our studio in London.
If for any reason you wanted to return your jacket, we accept returns within 28 days of delivery as long as the jacket is in perfect unworn condition.

THE PAYNTER CHORE JACKET
When it comes to iconic workwear staples, few jackets provide the timeless, functional and handsome style of the trusty chore jacket. Much like blue jeans, this hardy piece of outerwear has evolved over the past century from a practical uniform worn by labourers to become an everyday staple for men and women around the world. The chore jacket certainly isn’t tied to a particular time of year either - one of the best things about it is its trans-seasonal style. AS CLASSIC AS THEY COME.
Batch No.11 has been constructed from a classic 10-Wale Corduroy, woven by Duca Visconti in Italy, who are true corduroy experts. After all, they have been weaving it for nearly 200 years.
MADE IN ITALY
A two hour drive east from where our Corduroy was woven, in Padova near Venice, thousands of steel buttons have been made for us by Cobrax - an iconic Italian button maker, renowned for their unrivalled quality and patented designs.

LIMITED EDITION
Our signature red label inside Batch No.11 celebrates the beautiful repetition of Corduroy. After all, those repeated lines are why we waited until Batch No.11 to bring this beauty back. The label was designed by Studio Lenca, an artist from El Salvador who now works from Margate, UK.
