The Field Jacket is back for Batch No.8. This time in a luxurious lightweight Italian chino twill. After releasing the original Field Jacket 18 months ago, it quickly became our every day staple. It’s classic design with a high level of function and versatility made it our go-to jacket all year round.

Interior phone, passport and card pocket. Hangloop on collar. Clean finish inside and out. Reinforced and bar-tacked on stress points. Hand numbered neck label. Limited edition label by Aaron Chang. Made in Portugal.
A unisex fit that’s just the right level of boxy. It fits true to size. If you prefer an oversized fit, we recommend sizing up. If you’re unsure about sizing, check out our size guide above.
To find your best fit, compare our jacket measurements to a similar jacket you already own. Lay your jacket flat and take all measurements from the outside of the garment and compare with our size chart.
Please note that we have changed our sizing slightly since out first iteration of the Field Jacket so it’s worth double checking before ordering.
- Fabric & Care
At only 8oz, it’s our lightest jacket to date and makes a great layering piece on cooler days. Because of the way it has been tightly woven, it’s strong enough to keep its shape whilst staying light. The face of the fabric has also been lightly brushed so it’s like butter to touch.
Every jacket is garment dyed to give it a worn-in look and feel. Machine washable at 30 degrees, then hang to dry. If needed, iron inside out or steam to remove creases.
- Shipping & Returns
Each jacket will be shipped in January.
Depending on where you live, your jacket will arrive within 1 - 5 days via DHL. Once your jacket is dispatched, you'll receive an email confirming the due date, and tracking details for your jacket. If you’re based in the EU, we will be sending your jacket directly from Portugal so that you won’t incur additional VAT or customs fees. All other jackets will be sent from our studio in London.
If for any reason you wanted to return your jacket, we accept returns within 28 days of delivery as long as the jacket is in perfect condition.
THE FIELD JACKET 2.0
When we launched the original Field Jacket 18 months ago, it quickly became part of our every day uniform. It’s timeless design and functionality made it a piece that we turn to, day in day out. After it sold out in only 30 minutes, we had so many messages requesting to bring it back. But before we did, we wanted to take the time to make it even better. Since then, we’ve tested a lot of fabrics to find the perfect fit for a clean finish. And then we tweaked the design. Adding hidden side entry pockets, reinforcing stress points and finessing many of the smaller details. Finally, it’s ready.
Batch No.8 is made from a luxuriously lightweight Italian chino twill, using 100% organic cotton. The fabric is tightly woven, so although its lightweight, it holds its shape. This fabric was made for us by a relatively young mill (founded in 2005), but their attention to detail and high quality production has quickly made them one of the most prestigious mills in the country.
Each jacket is finished with 17 buttons (plus one spare). Each one is carved and dyed in the UK from corozo nuts that are grown and naturally harvested. Unlike plastic, our buttons are non-toxic and biodegradable.
As well as being individually hand numbered, each jacket comes with a limited edition label inside illustrated by a new artist each time. This label has been illustrated by Korean artist Aaron Chang who’s Ivy Style illustration we’ve admired for a long time.
THE CALIFORNIA OF EUROPE
Our jackets are hand made in a factory nestled away on a mountain side in Guimarães, Portugal. It’s a maker town. The factory is a small family run business that has been going for the last 30 years, specialising in jackets. They have a track record for supporting the underdogs. We’re proud to have our jackets made by them.
